Ocean Reef Chamber of Commerce Welcomes Monroe County Mayor Michelle Lincoln for June Luncheon

The Ocean Reef Chamber of Commerce is pleased to invite members and guests to our upcoming June Luncheon, featuring Monroe County Mayor Michelle Lincoln as our guest speaker.

Mayor Lincoln will present the “State of the County,” offering an informative and timely overview of the health of Monroe County’s economy, environment, and overall community wellbeing. For Ocean Reef Club members, this is a unique opportunity to gain valuable insight into the key issues, opportunities, and priorities shaping not only our region, but the broader landscape in which we live, work, and invest.

From infrastructure and environmental stewardship to economic growth and quality of life, Mayor Lincoln’s presentation will provide a comprehensive look at where Monroe County stands today—and where it is headed.

Elected to the Monroe County Board of County Commissioners (District 2) in 2018, Mayor Lincoln brings extensive leadership experience at both the state and national levels. She currently serves as President of the Florida Association of Counties and chairs the South Florida Regional Council. Her involvement also includes service on the National Association of Counties (NACo) Community, Economic and Workforce Development Steering Committee, and she is a Certified, Advanced, and Advanced II County Commissioner graduate.

Prior to her role at the county level, Mayor Lincoln served three years on the Marathon City Council, including one year as Mayor. A Monroe County resident since 1999, she has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to public service, including her work as a Child Advocate Coordinator for the Guardian ad Litem Program and her continued volunteer efforts throughout the community. She was honored with the 2018 Kay Gradick Woman of the Year Award and remains actively involved as a mentor with Take Stock in Children.

Mayor Lincoln is also a member of Rotary, participates in several Chambers of Commerce, and is an alumna of Leadership Monroe County. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Northern Kentucky University and is the proud mother of two daughters and a son-in-law.

This luncheon promises to be both informative and engaging, offering attendees a direct connection to one of the region’s most influential leaders.
