Over the holidays, Pawsitive Beginnings, an Ocean Reef Chamber of Commerce member, hosted its Second Annual Friendsgiving Day Brunch in support of the Florida Keys Children’s Shelter, also a Chamber member. The event brought together community leaders and supporters for a heartfelt celebration centered on gratitude, connection, and healing, while highlighting Pawsitive Beginnings’ continued commitment to creating meaningful experiences for children through compassion-driven programming and strong community partnerships.
Ocean Reef Chamber of Commerce President Ken Reda and Immediate Past President Brad Copeland were in attendance to personally support the mission and the children served. Club members Linda Falk and Diana Tweedy, who both serve on the Board of Directors for the Florida Keys Children’s Shelter, were also present in support of the event hosted by Pawsitive Beginnings. State Representative Jim Mooney and his aide, Lee Young, joined the gathering as well, underscoring the importance of collaboration among member organizations and community leaders dedicated to youth-focused initiatives. The Ocean Reef Chamber of Commerce is proud to highlight the impactful work of its members and the partnerships that continue to strengthen the Florida Keys community.
